The Essence of Fresh
I finished dinner the other day and realized my breath was terrible. I didn't have a toothbrush because I work at the store. However, I have the largest selection of groceries in town, and I definitely have a favorite. Every time I was younger, my grandpa gave me these, so it's most likely just nostalgia. Who knows.
As I open the lid of the packaging, I can smell the unique freshness—not like that of your toothpaste but like a fresh breeze that takes your bad breath away. I can eat these all day, so I always make sure to buy two packs. The paper inside the packaging is laced with this intoxicating fragrance. The chalk from the broken pieces always stays on your hands, which is a bane for anyone wearing black.
These simple things made for an easy snack to savor when I was a kid, and having old people always around made it easy for me to find them. The way they fit in my pocket next to my phone makes them a daily carry because they are so light. Seeing me around with these definitely solidifies that they are my favorite
